We don’t have all the answers but we do believe that as we gather it should be one of the most exciting, transforming times of the week. The Upper Room is a grass roots gathering of Christ followers. We are in the formation stage of this gathering. We are pleased that you have stopped by to learn more about The Upper Room.
We don't believe we have arrived on our journey but are still seeking to know and understand what it means to live as a follower of Christ in today's world. Our world needs to meet God. We need to meet God. The Upper Room seeks to create an environment where both those who are Christ followers and those who are seeking what it means to be a Christ follower can relate together. The biblical story records that many of the people who encountered Christ were transformed. It is our desire to create a place were the transformational power of Christ can be seen and experienced by those who seek Him.
We long for and believe many other people long for a place where those who are broken, weary or just need a place to belong can come or be invited to a place where the love and transformational power of Jesus can be seen and experienced. We dream of a place where one does not have to look or act a certain way to be accepted. A
place to belong. A place that creates environments that seek the mysterious, wonderful God and experience the Kingdom of God in our lives. A place full of conviction, led by the Holy Spirit, engaged in discipleship.
